Hermínio Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elder de Toledo in the 22nd minute. Elder de Toledo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Cangussu FC's zone, Elder de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Braga came out of the goal and Elder de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cangussu FC's goalkeeper Hermínio Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamim Coelho's late challenge caught a Foxman FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamim Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cangussu FC! In the 40th minute, the referee gave Foxman FC a penalty. Ruy Tinoco looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Hermínio Braga. In the 43rd play minute Elder de Toledo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermínio Braga. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Alexandre Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Vargas having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Foxman FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Maia. After 55 played minutes, Cangussu FC's Dedê Pombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernandão Vargas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cangussu FC reached it. Hermínio Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Meira in the 58th minute of the match. Rubens Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Meira in the 61st minute of play forced Cangussu FC's goalkeeper Hermínio Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Hermínio Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foxman FC. Rubens Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermínio Braga having to make a save. Elder de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Foxman FC's Elder de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elder de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Braga having to interfere. When Elder de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foxman FC's protests and gave Elder de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Elder de Toledo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cangussu FC's Wanderson das Neves got a free kick in the 87th minute. Elder de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
