Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rony Costa got the match started through his kick off. Simão de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandão Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Costa in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Fundao's Rubinho da Silva got control of the ball when Elder de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fundao's Ciro Campidelis got a free kick in the 16th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Elder de Toledo from a close distance when the talented Rubinho da Silva managed to make a qualified save. Fundao's players were relieved. Rubinho da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rubens Meira's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Luisão Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fundao's protests and gave Luisão Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. Luisão Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Magno Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Fundao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Foxman FC's Magno Hoffmann got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rubens Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rubinho da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Fundao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elder de Toledo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rubens Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho da Silva having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Foxman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Rubens Meira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Foxman FC's Bernardo Maia got a free kick in the 51st minute. Rubinho da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder de Toledo in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Simão de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundao's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simão de Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Fernandão Vargas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Rubens Meira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho da Silva was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Rubens Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foxman FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Fundao's goal looked a bit too open when Elder de Toledo came free, but Rubinho da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandão de Sousa's late challenge caught a Fundao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandão de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Foxman FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão de Sousa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão de Lara got free with Fernandão Vargas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Meira in the 96th minute of play forced Fundao's goalkeeper Rubinho da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
