Dorian Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Hermes having to make a save. In the 14th minute Dinei Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsinho Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A hard shot 19 in the game by Paulo Renato Rosado from a close distance when the talented Rui Hermes managed to make a qualified save. Rita FC's players were relieved. After 20 minutes, Paulo Renato Rosado made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rita FC's Rui Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Délio Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Esteves having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Rosado in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Souza during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rita FC's Joel Souza got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nelsinho Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Loureiro in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Aluísio Xavier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelsinho Esteves skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute, Paulo Renato Rosado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Renato Rosado didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 41st minute. Sarandy FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 46th match minute, Sarandy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Urbano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Pontes in the 48th minute of play forced Sarandy FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Loureiro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomé Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Rosado in the 53rd minute of the match. After 62 played minutes, Sarandy FC's Vítor Koehler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Hermes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarandy FC reached it. Rui Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Renato Rosado's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tomé Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes, Paulo Renato Rosado made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rita FC's Rui Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Paulo Renato Rosado put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rui Hermes. 87 minutes into the game, Délio Pontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelsinho Esteves. Délio Pontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. 94 minutes into the match, Paulo Renato Rosado notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Rita FC's Rui Hermes. Rui Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
