Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Bofete EC's Valdemar Negri got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A hard shot 4 in the game by Ricardo Sarmento from a close distance when the talented Antônio Fantini managed to make a qualified save. Bofete EC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Bofete EC's zone, Valdir Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Fantini came out of the goal and Valdir Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ricardo Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes, Valdir Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teotonio and the Bofete EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Teotonio got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Velasco. Valdir Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Fantini having to interfere. Bofete EC's Antônio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Velasco in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Teotonio's zone, Zé Roberto Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Amaral came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dagoberto Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Ricardo Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teotonio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tostão Arósio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Danilo Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Chico Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teotonio and the Bofete EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bofete EC booed when Teotonio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Sarmento got free with Antônio Fantini in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Velasco in the 40th minute of the match. Dagoberto Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Meireles in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Meireles made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bofete EC's Arnaldo Meireles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teotonio's Ricardo Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Valdir Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Fantini. Bofete EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdir Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tostão Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Valdir Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Fantini having to interfere. Antônio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Sarmento in the 69th minute of the match. Ricardo Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Antônio Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teotonio. Dagoberto Amaral was a little too slow when Arnaldo Meireles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 84th minute, Bofete EC's Danilo Hoffmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Valdir Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricardo Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Teotonio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Sarmento couldn't finish the play. If Valdir Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
