Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnaldo Meireles started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute João Vítor Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Velloso having to interfere. After some careless play in the Batatais defense, Arnaldo Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Velloso. The Batatais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Velloso should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bofete EC's zone, João Vítor Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Fantini came out of the goal and João Vítor Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Batatais booed when Bofete EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Fantini having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Romero in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Velloso came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bofete EC's Danilo Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Danilo Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Samuca de Brito's late challenge caught a Bofete EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bofete EC booed when Batatais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Hoffmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Velloso having to make a save. If Danilo Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca de Brito made a kick off. Antônio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca de Brito in the 53rd minute of play. Samuca de Brito was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Oswaldo Romero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Antônio Fantini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antônio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Danilo Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Oswaldo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batatais's supporters rose to their feet, but Oswaldo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldão Guerra hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Ronaldão Guerra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Batatais's Ronaldão Guerra got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 99 minutes of play, Bofete EC's Arnaldo Meireles made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bofete EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Batatais for a fine match.
