Vitinho Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Messias having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Umberto Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasilia EC and the Pitico Caiu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Allan Messias stood somewhat misplaced when Gustavo do Valle came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. If Vitinho Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Gustavo do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitico Caiu FC and the Brasilia EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Pitico Caiu FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo do Valle. Gustavo do Valle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Allan Messias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Pitico Caiu FC's Vitinho Ramalho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Allan Messias. Allan Messias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Allan Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo do Valle in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo do Valle made a kick off. Allan Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Ramalho in the 55th minute of play. When Vitinho Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pitico Caiu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Ramalho couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belchior Barros in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Brasilia EC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Campidelis hit a great ball. Gustavo do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Belchior Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Belchior Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Gröhe having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Brasilia EC's Rogério Eger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Gröhe. After a rather tough play, Pitico Caiu FC's Silas Monteiro got a free kick in the 98th minute. After having played for 99 minutes, Arnaldo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brasilia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pitico Caiu FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
