Luís Eduardo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Faria in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Curucamba's Álvaro Catarinense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Fernando Valadares. Luís Fernando Valadares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jean Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Luís Fernando Valadares made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Curucamba's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Marinho came free, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Curucamba's Jean Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fernando Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jean Ramalho in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Fernando Valadares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Álvaro Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Guaci SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Marinho to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Curucamba's Jean Ramalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Fernando Valadares. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play.
The wind increased when Jean Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Guaci SS got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Marinho. Luís Fernando Valadares came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Curucamba's Jean Ramalho. But to his dismay, Jean Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Luiz Fernando Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, João Francisco Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaci SS and the Curucamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luciano Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Ferreira was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Luciano Marinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Marinho really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. Guaci SS's Luís Fernando Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Medeiros in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Curucamba booed when Guaci SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Guaci SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Neiva to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Jean Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curucamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curucamba's Luís Eduardo Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Curucamba from getting a goal against them. Curucamba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
