Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Leite started the match with the kick off. When Telmo Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turiassu AD's protests and gave Telmo Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Turiassu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Turiassu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio de Castro came free, but Virgílio Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Soeiro took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Correia. Carlos Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Biribeira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Gustavo Leite scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Correia, making the score, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Aníbal Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorival Velasco in the 21st minute. When Adelino Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Turiassu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Soeiro couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Biribeira FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustavo Leite fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Biribeira FC's Cauan Loyola got a free kick in the 29th minute. Turiassu AD's Dorival Velasco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Correia but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Biribeira FC's zone, Gustavo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Correia came out of the goal and Gustavo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Adelino Soeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turiassu AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cássio de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo de Souza took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Bastos. Virgílio Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erivaldo de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Turiassu AD's Adelino Soeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 57th minute, Gustavo Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turiassu AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a rather tough play, Turiassu AD's Edu Diniz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gernando Veloso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Adelino Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gustavo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Soeiro in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Correia saved Biribeira FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Soeiro in the 79th minute of play forced Biribeira FC's goalkeeper Carlos Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Adelino Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Soeiro in the 82nd minute of play forced Biribeira FC's goalkeeper Carlos Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Biribeira FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Erivaldo de Souza hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Adelino Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turiassu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Soeiro in the 91st minute of play forced Biribeira FC's goalkeeper Carlos Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Turiassu AD were the better team. Turiassu AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
