Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lauro Guimarães started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 10th minute Cauan Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Mello was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Lambari got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Mello. In the 16th minute, Reginaldo Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Mossoro's goalkeeper Geovânio Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Brasil. Pedro Luís Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geovânio Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginaldo Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Nogueira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mossoro's zone, Reginaldo Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Nogueira came out of the goal and Reginaldo Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Mattos to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Mattos in the 58th minute of play forced Lambari's goalkeeper Douglas Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lambari's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Jardel Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Douglas Tasso, making the score, 0-1. In the 62nd minute, Lúcio Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovânio Nogueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reginaldo Sergipano went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Mauro Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mossoro's zone, Mauro Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Nogueira came out of the goal and Mauro Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauan Pereira hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Oséias Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Reginaldo Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lambari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginaldo Sergipano couldn't finish the play. Lambari's Vito Camargo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cléberson Abraão in the 92 minute of the game. Reginaldo Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
