He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Passos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Breozinho getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marcelinho Passos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferreira's Leonardo Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murillo Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Passos in the 84th minute of the match. Breozinho's Murillo Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Passos in the 94th minute of play. Umberto Brasil's late challenge caught a Ferreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umberto Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Umberto Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ferreira players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
