Délio Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rubens Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Délio Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Carona AD got a freekick which was hit by Charles Pinho. Rubens Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Vinhas in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carona AD's Charles Pinho got a free kick in the 16th minute. Délio Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rubens Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boiao FC. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jorginho Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubens Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Vinhas in the 27th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Trigo in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Carona AD booed when Boiao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boiao FC's zone, Valdemar Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Leite came out of the goal and Valdemar Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Trigo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carona AD. When Carona AD's Marquinhos Trigo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boiao FC's goalie prevented a goal. Elano Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Marquinhos Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Luiz Fábio Leite to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorginho Vinhas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Viana in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Carona AD's Marquinhos Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fábio Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Olavo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Boiao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Aparecido came free, but Luiz Fábio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Glauco Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boiao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marquinhos Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Carona AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 88th minute Valdemar Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carona AD's Bernardinho Aparecido couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boiao FC. If Marquinhos Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
