Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raúl de Carvalho kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the match, Riberalta EC's goalkeeper Dionísio de Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvinho Arruda. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Evandro Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pompeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionísio de Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Maria Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Pedro Augusto Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Mendes made a great header on Riberalta EC's corner, it was just that Pompeiro's Manolo Dantas managed to reach the ball for a save. Dionísio de Godoy came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Pompeiro's Silvinho Arruda. But to his dismay, Silvinho Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Silvinho Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dionísio de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Miguel Prata came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Riberalta EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Prata couldn't finish the play. Evandro Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dionísio de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Damião to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionísio de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Dionísio de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Arruda in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Riberalta EC got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Paiva. Pedro Augusto Rezende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dionísio de Godoy. Riberalta EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Arruda in the 62nd minute of play forced Riberalta EC's goalkeeper Dionísio de Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manolo Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Prata in the 67th minute. Raúl de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Dantas having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Riberalta EC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Arruda came free, but Dionísio de Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompeiro's Silvinho Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Silvinho Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pompeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionísio de Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78thth minute of the game Silvinho Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riberalta EC's Dionísio de Godoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Evandro Damião made a precise shot to the right of Dionísio de Godoy. Riberalta EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Silvinho Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionísio de Godoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho Arruda's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The supporters of Pompeiro booed when Riberalta EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompeiro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
