Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Digo da Silva got the match started through his kick off. Ademir Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Digo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Serieme's Dalmo Pontes in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinheirinho's goalie prevented a goal. Dênis Braga hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Serieme got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Leite. Serieme's Ademir Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Digo da Silva in the 26th minute of play. Wellington Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Serieme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Andrade lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Pinheirinho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 40 minutes, Dalmo Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serieme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Célio Palmeira came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Serieme's Nildo Medeiros. But to his dismay, Nildo Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmo Pontes to make the kick off. Serieme's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gláuber Dantas in the 56th minute. The corner led to Serieme's Genílson Zanette getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Serieme's Dalmo Pontes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinheirinho's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Pinheirinho getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Edmílson Corrêa hit a great ball. Célio Palmeira came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Serieme's Nildo Medeiros. But to his dismay, Nildo Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Pedro Luís da Costa's late challenge caught a Serieme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Luís da Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Pedro Luís da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nildo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Palmeira having to interfere. With a little luck, Pinheirinho's Célio Palmeira got control of the ball when Nildo Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serieme's Nildo Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77thth minute of the game Dalmo Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinheirinho's Célio Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmo Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célio Palmeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmo Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Serieme's zone, Wanderson Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademir Mello came out of the goal and Wanderson Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Mello having to interfere. Célio Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Medeiros in the 95th minute. Serieme played a much better game than Pinheirinho and deserved their victory. The Pinheirinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
