Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Natanael Penha started the match with the kick off. Jacinto da Costa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Ingazeiras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Remonta. Cléberson Cerezo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Pimenta. 1-0. When Sandro Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ingazeiras's protests and gave Sandro Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, one of Ingazeiras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ingazeiras. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Remonta. Cléberson Cerezo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Pimenta. 2-0. Bernardo Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Remonta's Enio Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Remonta's zone, Sílvio Luiz Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enio Paiva came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Luiz Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Enio Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingazeiras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Azevedo in the 39th minute of play forced Remonta's goalkeeper Enio Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Luiz Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Ingazeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Remonta got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Maia. Sílvio Luiz Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Paiva having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Remonta's Kaká Paulista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Natanael Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ingazeiras's Jardel de Azevedo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th minute, Natanael Penha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Kaká Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ingazeiras's Sandro Carvalho got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Jaime Cordeiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enio Paiva, passed just outside the right post. If Sílvio Luiz Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
