Guajarauna's Teodoro Toscano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferraz FC. Joaquim Gaúcho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Ferraz FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tony Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Quadros got free with Lauro Neto in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guajarauna's Tony Aguiar got his second yellow card of the match in the 11th minute. The referee ordered Tony Aguiar off the ground. If Joaquim Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guajarauna's Juarês Correia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ferraz FC's Diamantino Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lauro Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Cearense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lauro Neto. Guajarauna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When José Maria Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferraz FC's protests and gave José Maria Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. José Maria Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Diamantino Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Neto. Guajarauna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Diamantino Quadros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
