When Cipriano Simão came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pacovalinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Simão couldn't finish the play. Paulo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Gerber having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Vander in the 46th minute of play forced Pacovalinho's goalkeeper Falcão Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Paulo Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

With his leg Falcão Gerber managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Araguaya SS's Wilson Lucas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastião de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Natã Coutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacovalinho. Natã Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Natã Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Simão in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã Coutinho was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Falcão Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Lucas in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Zeca Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araguaya SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pacovalinho the free kick. In the 96th minute, Zeca Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Araguaya SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pacovalinho.
