Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Romário Passos got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Pacui's Zé Augusto Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvério Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Zé Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvério Neves. Zé Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Flavinho de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Silvério Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Garcia in the 17th minute of the match. Narciso Massa's late challenge caught a Pacui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Massa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Assaizal AD getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Narciso Massa hit a great ball. Silvério Neves was a little too slow when Zé Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. Zé Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Silvério Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Leão had several of the Assaizal AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Silvério Neves as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 35 minutes, Wilson Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacui and the Assaizal AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pacui getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wilson Queiroz hit a great ball. Claudinei Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Garcia to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Teodoro Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvério Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Assaizal AD's zone, Zé Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Neves came out of the goal and Zé Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Ribeiro scored 6-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvério Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Assaizal AD defense, Teodoro Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvério Neves. The Assaizal AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvério Neves should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pacui booed when Assaizal AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Pacui's Claudinei Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvério Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Assaizal AD's Arí Baptista seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arí Baptista the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Assaizal AD protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arí Baptista had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Pacui a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudinei Leão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Assaizal AD's Silvério Neves. 8-0. Pacui were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Assaizal AD for a fine match.
