William Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilvan Proença might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilvan Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Álvaro Torres put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of William Tepedino. Gilvan Proença scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Álvaro Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jequitahy SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Maloca AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Proença came free, but William Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Gilvan Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. William Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Proença in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Peres in the 36th minute of play forced Jequitahy SC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Jequitahy SC's Gilvan Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. William Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Capixaba in the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedê Prado during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jequitahy SC booed when Maloca AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 57th minute of the match Dedê Prado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dedê Prado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Jequitahy SC booed when Maloca AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maloca AD's William Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Maloca AD from getting a goal against them. Jequitahy SC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Maloca AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Murillo Campidelis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jequitahy SC's corner Murillo Campidelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and William Tepedino quite easily take care of the ball. If Gilvan Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. William Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Pirani in the 63rd minute of the match. Reginaldo Peres hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilvan Proença got free with William Tepedino in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jequitahy SC's Beto Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beto Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Maloca AD's goalkeeper William Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Proença. Gilvan Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. William Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Pirani took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Tepedino. William Tepedino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. William Tepedino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilvan Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 86 minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Álvaro Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jequitahy SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maloca AD the free kick. In the 89th match minute, Jequitahy SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Torres to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Jequitahy SC's William Tepedino threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Álvaro Torres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gilvan Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but William Tepedino made a huge save. Jequitahy SC played a much better game than Maloca AD and deserved their victory. The Maloca AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
