The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Osvaldo Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mogi Masters and the Passo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Mogi Masters got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Mesquita. Passo SS's Ulisses Fernandes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mogi Masters. After 8 played minutes Mogi Masters got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Marinho. In the 11th minute Walmir Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Mogi Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Robin Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Passo SS booed when Mogi Masters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Guilabertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ulisses Fernandes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robin Courtois. Mogi Masters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robin Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toninho Barros went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ulisses Fernandes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Mogi Masters. Baltazar Marinho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerson Reis. 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Mogi Masters's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Barros came free, but Robin Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mogi Masters's Robin Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mogi Masters from getting a goal against them. Gilbert Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gerson Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Mogi Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Passo SS's Walmir Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mogi Masters's Baltazar Marinho got a free kick in the 65th minute. Robin Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Barros in the 80th minute of play. Walmir Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Robin Courtois made a huge save. Passo SS's Gerson Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Alvarez in the 96th minute of play. Mogi Masters's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
