Carmelo Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Lima having to interfere. Mogi Masters's Evaristo Prestes pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When César Batista fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guirapa's protests and gave César Batista a yellow card for diving instead. Mogi Masters made a substitution. Charles Coelho replaced Evaristo Prestes. In the 46th minute, César Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Enrique Quadros made the kick off in the second half. Luisão Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Alvarez in the 60th minute of the match. Enrique Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luisão Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Enrique Quadros fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luisão Lima, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Enrique Quadros put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luisão Lima. In the 78th minute, Silvério Simões sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mogi Masters's Robin Courtois didn't even have to move. When Gilbert Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mogi Masters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Alvarez couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Guirapa getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Caetano Favoretto hit a great ball. Enrique Quadros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Luisão Lima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Mogi Masters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mogi Masters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
