Nilson Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sandrinho Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Richard Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Castro struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Fellipe Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salsas FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Madureira couldn't finish the play. Raí Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fellipe Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Castro got free with Fellipe Mota in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes, Tarcisio Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morere and the Salsas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Fellipe Mota, was totally fooled by Salsas FC's Léo Faustino, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 82 minutes into the match, Raí Oliveira notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Salsas FC's Sandrinho Simões. Sandrinho Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Morere's Fellipe Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Morere from getting a goal against them. Fellipe Mota made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Clemente Castro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Salsas FC defense, Raí Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandrinho Simões. The Salsas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandrinho Simões should have stopped the shot. The Morere supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salsas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Salsas FC.
