TETEIA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salsas FC the free kick. Luiz Sá hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes TETEIA FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Castro. Clemente Castro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. André Luís Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salsas FC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexsandro Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílton Meira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Salsas FC booed when TETEIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, one of Salsas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salsas FC. Salsas FC:s Sandrinho Simões showed great skill when he stopped Bruninho Teixeira:s penalty. Sandrinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Alvarenga in the 70th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Guimarães notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Salsas FC's Sandrinho Simões. Sandrinho Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that TETEIA FC were the better team. TETEIA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
