After 12 minutes, Sílvio Luís Barral made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Compensa SC's Nilmar Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Hoffmann got free with Cássio Moraes in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yan Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Sílvio Luís Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abacate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luís Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilmar Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Faria's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Zacarias Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Moraes having to interfere. Zacarias Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Leopoldo Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Compensa SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilmar Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Barral in the 38th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Compensa SC's Cássio Moraes threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zacarias Vinhas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nilmar Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Abacate booed when Compensa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luís Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nilmar Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Compensa SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abacate were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Zacarias Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Compensa SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Ivo Mangueira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Cássio Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anderson Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Zacarias Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Zacarias Alvarenga missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 68 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nilmar Trigo right hand side. A collision led to Compensa SC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leopoldo Chaves hit a great ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abacate's goalkeeper Cássio Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacarias Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Cássio Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compensa SC. Yan Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abacate walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
