After 14 played minutes Manguari SC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Gonçalves. Erivaldo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If José Augusto Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
