In the 10thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capumba AD's Alfredo das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Rony Fernandes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ricardo de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rony Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AkyReef Sporting Atletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Ricardo de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo das Neves. Capumba AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alfredo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Barbosa in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of AkyReef Sporting Atletic booed when Capumba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo das Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Fernandes went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Rony Fernandess short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Alfredo das Neves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Paulo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo das Neves having to interfere. Rony Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alfredo das Neves made a huge save. Rony Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rony Fernandes made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, AkyReef Sporting Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Prata to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo das Neves. Capumba AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Paulo Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Zé Paulo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo de Senna in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Paulão Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capumba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AkyReef Sporting Atletic the free kick. In the 61st minute, Paulão Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rony Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. The tension between the AkyReef Sporting Atletic and the Capumba AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 80 in the game by Carlos Augusto Paiva from a close distance when the talented Sebastian Svanberg managed to make a qualified save. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's players were relieved. A collision led to AkyReef Sporting Atletic getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alessandro Salles hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto de Godoi in the 83rd minute of play forced Capumba AD's goalkeeper Alfredo das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo de Senna struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alfredo das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AkyReef Sporting Atletic. Charles Cunha hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ricardo de Senna notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Capumba AD's Alfredo das Neves. Alfredo das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, AkyReef Sporting Atletic's Beto de Godoi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Carlos Augusto Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the AkyReef Sporting Atletic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
