Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Figueiredo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Itagiba's Osvaldinho Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Itagiba's Osvaldinho Rosa got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ian Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Figueiredo in the 12th minute of play forced Itagiba's goalkeeper Geovani Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedé Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Galvão having to interfere. Ian Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Zé Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovani Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dedé Azevedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Itagiba's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 25th minute, Evandro Meira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osmar Galvão. The goal made the score 2-0. After 31 played minutes Itagiba got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Passos. In the 32nd minute of the match Almir Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovani Chaves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ian Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Chaves having to interfere. Evandro Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dedé Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Itagiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Ian Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Chaves having to interfere. Geovani Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Franklin Leal's late challenge caught a Raposos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Leal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Franklin Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Evandro Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Evandro Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ian Mumbach came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Raposos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Mumbach couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Meirelles came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovani Chaves could save by the left post. Ian Mumbach's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geovani Chaves firmly grabbed it by the left post. Osmar Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Evandro Meira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itagiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Itagiba getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Evandro Meira hit a great ball. Osvaldinho Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee gave Itagiba a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rui da Rocha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Raposos's Osmar Galvão. 4-0. Ian Mumbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Geovani Chaves made a huge save. In the 98th match minute, Itagiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Geovani Chaves made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Ian Mumbach sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Itagiba had won after a very even match.
