The referee gave Corteva FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nildo Seco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Morrao's Silvério Albuquerque. 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.
