Fellipe de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bebeto Sarmento came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ypiranga SC's Lucas Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Lucas Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fellipe de Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Bebeto Sarmento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ypiranga SC's Lucas Cordeiro in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candeiras SS's goalie prevented a goal. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 21 played minutes, when Ypiranga SC:s Lucas Cordeiro calmly waited for Candeiras SS:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lucas Cordeiro sped through Candeiras SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bebeto Sarmento. The audience was convinced that Lucas Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto Sarmento was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With his leg Bebeto Sarmento managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Ypiranga SC's Lucas Cordeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 31 minutes Candeiras SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvinho Mangueira who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Silvinho Mangueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Candeiras SS's Bebeto Sarmento did a great save. Fellipe de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bebeto Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Lucas during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Candeiras SS got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Lucas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fellipe de Mendonça got free with Bebeto Sarmento in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Fellipe de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto Sarmento. Candeiras SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.

Emerson Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Ypiranga SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ypiranga SC booed when Candeiras SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes of play, Ypiranga SC's Fellipe de Mendonça made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvinho Mangueira took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Sarmento. Bebeto Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Lucas Cordeiro put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bebeto Sarmento. When Fellipe de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ypiranga SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Bebeto Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Sena in the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Candeiras SS's zone, Fellipe de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Sarmento came out of the goal and Fellipe de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lucas Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto Sarmento was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the game, Lucas Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Bebeto Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Lucas Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto Sarmento was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Ypiranga SC's attack was well implemented in the 80th minute, but when Lucas Cordeiro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Bebeto Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Cordeiro went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. If Lucas Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ypiranga SC's Silvinho Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bebeto Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Cordeiro in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candeiras SS's zone, Cláudio Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Sarmento came out of the goal and Cláudio Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emerson Breckenfeld was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. Emerson Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ypiranga SC fully deserved thier win.
