Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guga Pena started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Breja SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Breja SS:s João Francisco Bueno showed great skill when he stopped Aílton Eger:s penalty. 9 minutes into the game, Aruaja's Aílton Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Francisco Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Narciso Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Francisco Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Celsinho Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breja SS's protests and gave Celsinho Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Breja SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Marcelinho Ferreira's late challenge caught a Aruaja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelinho Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Breja SS's Marcelinho Ferreira got a free kick in the 20th minute. Guga Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Guga Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Breja SS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rubinho Coutinho hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Pena in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Francisco Bueno saved Breja SS from getting behind. Wágner da Silveira hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silas Neiva was the one to do the kick off. In the 70th match minute, Aruaja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Pereira to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Silas Neiva put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Betão Toscano. Silas Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Toscano having to interfere. João Francisco Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Goiano in the 79th minute of the match. João Francisco Bueno came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Aruaja's Guga Pena. But to his dismay, Guga Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. José Vítor Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
