Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudinei Britto took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Dagoberto Velasco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Téo Gerber. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Velasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Téo Gerber. Dagoberto Velasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 21st minute, Orlando Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Téo Gerber was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dagoberto Velasco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. With a little luck, Iaras's Téo Gerber got control of the ball when Helge Ödman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helge Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Gerber having to interfere. Rodriguinho Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Velasco in the 45th minute of play forced Iaras's goalkeeper Téo Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helge Ödman struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Téo Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itália. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dagoberto Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Britto in the 59th minute of play forced Itália's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Itália getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Severino Alvarenga hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Velasco in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Gerber saved Iaras from getting behind. The supporters of Itália booed when Iaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Dagoberto Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Iaras's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Clemencin came free, but Téo Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Téo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoel Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Ian Alcântara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodriguinho Motta. The goal made the score 3-3. The supporters of Itália booed when Iaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Iaras's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Velasco came free, but Téo Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Moreno's late challenge caught a Itália's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Severino Alvarenga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Iaras's Téo Gerber didn't even have to move. Tiaguinho Torres took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo Gerber. Téo Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Téo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Ödman in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Iaras got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Britto. Itália's Dagoberto Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Clemencin scored 5-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Gerber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Itália players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
