Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilson Leal kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute of the match Norberto Paraense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Téo Gerber skillfully saved the ball. Téo Gerber came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Coaraci's Gilson Leal. But to his dismay, Gilson Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Britto in the 9th minute of play forced Coaraci's goalkeeper Claudinei Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Téo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Tróia in the 12th minute of play. Téo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Leal in the 14th minute of play. Coaraci's Claudinei Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Coaraci from getting a goal against them. Téo Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Orlando Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilson Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Téo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Téo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Tróia in the 35th minute of play. Sandro Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Gerber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Sandro Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gilson Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Gerber having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Britto was the one to do the kick off. If Claudinei Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juarês Messias during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Coaraci's Juarês Messias got a free kick in the 61st minute. Claudinei Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Mendonça in the 63rd minute of the match. Silvinho da Silveira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Britto in the 66th minute of play forced Coaraci's goalkeeper Claudinei Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Coaraci's Juarês Messias got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Gilson Leal fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coaraci's protests and gave Gilson Leal a yellow card for diving instead. Coaraci's Claudinei Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mendonça in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Orlando Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th match minute, Coaraci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Leal to maneuver through the defense. When Claudinei Britto came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Iaras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Britto couldn't finish the play. Gilson Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. During the 90th minute of the match Gilson Leal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilson Leal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gilson Leal hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Claudinei Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei Britto went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
