Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gláuber Diniz got the match started through his kick off. Ulysses Hames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Xavier in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomás Romero in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Hames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Carlos Terra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulysses Hames. Pianco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodriguinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Hames having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Pianco's Gláuber Diniz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aleandro Rosado. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Pianco's Cristiano Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes in the game, Gláuber Diniz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aleandro Rosado having to interfere. Cristiano Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Jequie defense, Gláuber Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleandro Rosado. The Jequie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleandro Rosado should have stopped the shot. Ulysses Hames didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomás Romero went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Xavier notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pianco's Ulysses Hames. Ulysses Hames was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 played minutes Jequie got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Zonta. In the 41st minute, Sílvio de Amaral sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jequie's Aleandro Rosado didn't even have to move. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Pianco booed when Jequie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Thomás Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Hames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aleandro Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
