After 2 played minutes La Furia Football FCOMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Destro. Leonel Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jostein Sølvberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jostein Sølvberg having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Ronaldão Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jostein Sølvberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 13 minutes, Toninho Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irajai and the La Furia Football FCOMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Irajai's Toninho Toledo got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Guedes in the 16th minute of play forced La Furia Football FCOMZ's goalkeeper Jostein Sølvberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 30 minutes, Cafu Destro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Furia Football FCOMZ and the Irajai players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Furia Football FCOMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Jostein Sølvberg had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Ronaldão Guedes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jostein Sølvberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as La Furia Football FCOMZ's João Carlos Penha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Washington Neto. That made the score 3-3 after 38 minutes of play. Irajai's Benjamin da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Ronaldão Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jostein Sølvberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jostein Sølvberg having to interfere. When Irajai's Ronaldão Guedes in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Furia Football FCOMZ's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when João Carlos Penha made the kick off in the second half. Jostein Sølvberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jostein Sølvberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Guedes in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin da Rocha got free with Jostein Sølvberg in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Irajai's Jostein Sølvberg threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldão Guedes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Rômulo de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Irajai booed when La Furia Football FCOMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Destro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, La Furia Football FCOMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Guedes came free, but Jostein Sølvberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Ronaldão Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irajai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes of play, La Furia Football FCOMZ's João Carlos Penha made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Washington Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, La Furia Football FCOMZ's João Carlos Penha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Ronaldão Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Washington Neto came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by La Furia Football FCOMZ's João Carlos Penha. But to his dismay, João Carlos Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. In the 88th minute, Irajai's Benjamin da Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jostein Sølvberg. Jostein Sølvberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-4. Jostein Sølvberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rômulo de Medeiros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-5 in the 92 minute of play.
