When Paulinho Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carinhatas F.C's protests and gave Paulinho Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Carinhatas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. GUARANI E.C.'s Bernardinho Pires couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carinhatas F.C. 11 minutes into the match, Betão Netto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta. Douglas Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Carinhatas F.C booed when GUARANI E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, GUARANI E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Nogueira came free, but João Augusto Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Augusto Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Valle in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Netto in the 18th minute of play forced Carinhatas F.C's goalkeeper Douglas Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, GUARANI E.C.'s Bernardinho Pires made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Douglas Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Paraense in the 21st minute of the match. Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Paraense in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carinhatas F.C's Paulinho Nogueira got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Denílson Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, GUARANI E.C.'s Vicente Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Douglas Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Paraense in the 36th minute of play. Vicente Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Douglas Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Bernardinho Pires made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Carinhatas F.C's Douglas Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Carinhatas F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GUARANI E.C. were winning 0-5.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Araújo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Carinhatas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Pires came free, but Douglas Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Motta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. In the 56th minute, Betão Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 59th minute, Felipe Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Motta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bernardinho Pires. Douglas Motta came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by GUARANI E.C.'s Evaristo Lara. But to his dismay, Evaristo Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Douglas Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Evaristo Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Evaristo Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Motta. Carinhatas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Douglas Motta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vito Bastos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 70 minute of play. Douglas Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Betão Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Douglas Motta made a huge save. After some careless play in the Carinhatas F.C defense, Vito Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Motta. The Carinhatas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Motta should have stopped the shot. Douglas Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Bastos in the 77th minute of the match. Betão Netto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Douglas Motta came out and tried to block the shot, but Betão Netto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 78th minute. Douglas Motta was a little too slow when Bernardinho Pires got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-13. Betão Netto took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Motta. Douglas Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. Douglas Motta was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Vito Bastos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vito Bastos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. Douglas Motta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Betão Netto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 91 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Betão Netto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Douglas Motta. That made the score 0-17 in the 95 minute of play.
