Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lúcio Vides started the match with the kick off. José Paulo Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Fonseca in the 2nd minute. Amílton Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dráusio de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Inhauma FC's Sidnei Galvão got a free kick in the 9th minute. Inhauma FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Válbson Alves scored to the left of an out of position José Paulo Gerber, making the score, 1-0. Smashing PumpkinS's Dráusio de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Gaspar in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Inhauma FC defense, Sílvio Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Paulo Gerber. The Inhauma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Paulo Gerber should have stopped the shot. 3-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Luís Paulo Fonseca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Smashing PumpkinS's Válbson Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Paulo Gerber. José Paulo Gerber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 31st minute, Luís Paulo Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Paulo Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Válbson Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Válbson Alves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Paulo Gerber. That made the score 6-0 in the 36 minute of play. Luís Paulo Fonseca succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Dráusio de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Válbson Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Válbson Alves to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Vale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute, Osvaldinho Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidnei Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. José Paulo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Alves in the 60th minute of play. Dráusio de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Donato Botelho's late challenge caught a Inhauma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Smashing PumpkinS got a freekick which was hit by Donato Botelho. In the 67thth minute of the game Zé Carlos de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smashing PumpkinS's Dráusio de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Gerber having to interfere. José Paulo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dráusio de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Severo in the 80th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Amílton Gaspar rounded Smashing PumpkinS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 8-3. Ciro de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Zé Carlos de Limas short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Dráusio de Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the game, Ciro de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inhauma FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smashing PumpkinS the free kick. The supporters of Smashing PumpkinS booed when Inhauma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Sílvio Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inhauma FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
