The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Roberto Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wally Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Quarahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wally Guzman couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Erik Cordeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Carlos Gamarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Quarahy's Wally Guzman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Wally Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quarahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Wally Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wally Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Roberto Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Wally Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Quarahy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luís Fabiano de Amorim hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

53 minutes into the game, Roberto Machado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 秦洲森. Roberto Machado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Dino Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Roberto Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 秦洲森 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
