Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruben Corderro kicked off to start the match. Geovanni Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Corderro in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tiquinho Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIEL ALGUSTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiquinho Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FIEL TUPÃ's Omar Morera got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Ruben Corderro came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FIEL ALGUSTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Corderro couldn't finish the play. Geovanni Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Pernambucano in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute FIEL ALGUSTA were awarded a corner. Wambasther van Dijk went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruben Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Arruda having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, FIEL TUPÃ's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Corderro came free, but Geovanni Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiquinho Soares struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Geovanni Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIEL ALGUSTA. Geovanni Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murillo Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Ruben Corderro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Arruda was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, FIEL TUPÃ's Göran Ekberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Ruben Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovanni Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Pernambucano in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match FIEL ALGUSTA got a corner. FIEL TUPÃ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wambasther van Dijk ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Wambasther van Dijk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geovanni Arruda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tiquinho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Arruda having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá Carioca made a kick off. Tiquinho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Arruda having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Corderro got free with Geovanni Arruda in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quico Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geovanni Arruda was a little too slow when Murillo Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to FIEL ALGUSTA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rubens Rocha hit a great ball. FIEL TUPÃ's Leonardo Arruda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FIEL ALGUSTA. 90 minutes into the match, Göran Ekberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl da Silveira. FIEL ALGUSTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Ekberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Corderro during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruben Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The FIEL ALGUSTA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
