Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) IBZ S.C.'s Sidnei Motta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jarbas Vargas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of IBZ S.C.'s Juninho Queiroz. Juninho Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Meira took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Queiroz. Juninho Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 9 minutes into the match, IBZ S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Meira came free, but Juninho Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IBZ S.C.'s Juninho Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Duarte in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Patrick Meira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of IBZ S.C.'s Juninho Queiroz. Juninho Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Vargas in the 19th minute of play forced IBZ S.C.'s goalkeeper Juninho Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cipriano Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Cipriano Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Russe Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 27th minute, Jarbas Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juninho Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Cipriano Duarte scored 0-7 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juninho Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Cipriano Duarte made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. IBZ S.C.'s Juninho Queiroz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Jarbas Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Juninho Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Russe Athletic were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Patrick Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Juninho Queiroz made a huge save. Juninho Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Duarte got free with Juninho Queiroz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juninho Queiroz was a little too slow when Jarbas Vargas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-11. In the 61st minute, Cipriano Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juninho Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. IBZ S.C.'s Juninho Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Vargas in the 65th minute of play. Eurico de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Motta in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Cipriano Duarte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juninho Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juninho Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Meira in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, IBZ S.C.'s Humberto Fantini got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Cipriano Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Queiroz. IBZ S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Cipriano Duarte scored 0-17 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juninho Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Vargas in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Patrick Meira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juninho Queiroz. The goal made the score 0-18. After 96 played minutes Russe Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Edvīns Bebris. Russe Athletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
