In the 5thth minute of the game Vicente Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapema's Augusto da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Vicente Mel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Augusto da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Randoli FC's Iosif Kakaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Randoli FC from getting a goal against them. Augusto da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Mel in the 17th minute of play. Geovani Bezerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Iosif Kakaris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Randoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Mel. Randoli FC's Iosif Kakaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Randoli FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Macedo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oswaldo Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Augusto da Cunha came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Randoli FC's Raimundo da Silva. But to his dismay, Raimundo da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute Adilson Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randoli FC's Adilson Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Bezerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Raimundo da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Randoli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Adilson Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Itapema's Augusto da Cunha got control of the ball when Vicente Mel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto da Cunha having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Adilson Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Augusto da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Mel in the 86th minute of the match. Adilson Maia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of Itapema booed when Randoli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Cunha came free, but Augusto da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Randoli FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itapema throughout the match.
