David Severijnse helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Espiãs got a freekick which was hit by David Severijnse. Ediberto Barreto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute David Severijnse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Villaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Pincoski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Alfredinho Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Espiãs got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Prata. Eusébio Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martino Villaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Abad in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the game, Gwidon Pincoski landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Alfredinho Proença fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espiãs's protests and gave Alfredinho Proença a yellow card for diving instead. BOTAFOGO SAF 2022 made a substitution. Zé Augusto Bittencourt replaced Gwidon Pincoski. In the 29th minute, Espiãs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zé Augusto Bittencourt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. David Severijnse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martino Villaro having to interfere. Silvinho Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Martino Villaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Severijnse, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eusébio Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Wiliam Vinhas made a huge save. Eusébio Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Wiliam Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTAFOGO SAF 2022. In the 46thth minute of the game David Abad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOTAFOGO SAF 2022's Martino Villaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 48th minute when David Abad elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wiliam Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, David Abad lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Martino Villaro. Diego Prestess short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Martino Villaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eusébio Carvalho hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Espiãs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Prata to maneuver through the defense. Wiliam Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Carvalho in the 71st minute of the match. BOTAFOGO SAF 2022 were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Espiãs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvinho Fontes took the corner. BOTAFOGO SAF 2022's Silvinho Fontes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wiliam Vinhas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Abad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Martino Villaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When BOTAFOGO SAF 2022's Eusébio Carvalho in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espiãs's goalie prevented a goal. David Severijnse hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. David Abad did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Martino Villaro 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Espiãs's David Abad got a free kick in the 97th minute. The supporters of Espiãs booed when BOTAFOGO SAF 2022 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Christodoulopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Espiãs could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BOTAFOGO SAF 2022 throughout the match.
