In the 6th minute Célio Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Célio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fabrício Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, David Termander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrinho Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Décio Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Hermengildo Montes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrício Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilton Guerra hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, David Termander put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrício Queiroz. Giovanni Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitoria da conquista's Chicão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Veloso in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Guarapiranga's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Antunes came free, but Fabrício Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Antunes in the 41st minute of play. Rony Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Chicão Braga made a huge save. Vitoria da conquista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrício Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Termander's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Giuseppe Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Barney Stinson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabrício Queiroz, passed just outside the right post. Vitoria da conquista's Barney Stinson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Célio Fonseca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guarapiranga's Fabrício Queiroz. Fabrício Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Célio Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabrício Queiroz, passed just outside the right post. If Célio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, David Termander put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrício Queiroz. When Célio Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vitoria da conquista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Fonseca couldn't finish the play. David Termander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Botelho hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Fabrício Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Stinson in the 74th minute of the match. Barney Stinson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabrício Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Barney Stinson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 76th minute. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Barney Stinson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fabrício Queiroz came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Vitoria da conquista's Giovanni Antunes. But to his dismay, Giovanni Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Pedro Luiz Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luiz Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Vitoria da conquista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Wilton Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitoria da conquista's attentive Dinei Corrêa managed to snatch the ball when Pedrinho Félix made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Giovanni Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabrício Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Vitoria da conquista could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guarapiranga throughout the match.
