The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elkin Paradela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Lodowy, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd match minute, Trikoliro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Brito to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Trikoliro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Lodowy came free, but Elkin Paradela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elkin Paradela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes, José Paulo de Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Cristo EC and the Trikoliro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Monte Cristo EC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo de Castro. In the 14th minute, Zé Augusto Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Gustavo Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Emanuel Brito put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trikoliro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Zé Roberto Velasco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Zé Augusto Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elkin Paradela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Donatello in the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Trikoliro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Lodowy came free, but Elkin Paradela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guilherme Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Guilherme Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Guilherme Ortiz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Elkin Paradela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 38 minutes, Luís Guilherme Ortiz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Monte Cristo EC's Luís Gustavo Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Marian Lodowy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Lodowy in the 43rd minute of play forced Trikoliro FC's goalkeeper Elkin Paradela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elkin Paradela came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Cristo EC's Zé Augusto Donatello. But to his dismay, Zé Augusto Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47th minute Marian Lodowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elkin Paradela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Marian Lodowy notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Trikoliro FC's Elkin Paradela. Elkin Paradela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th match minute, Monte Cristo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Fărcașu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Trikoliro FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Júnior Tróia hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, Marian Lodowy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Elkin Paradela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Guilherme Ortiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Gustavo Arruda. That made the score 3-2 in the 65 minute of play. After 68 played minutes Monte Cristo EC got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Fărcașu. Diamantino Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monte Cristo EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Luís Guilherme Ortiz scored to the left of an out of position Luís Gustavo Arruda, making the score, 3-3. Elkin Paradela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Velasco in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Trikoliro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Dantas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Gustavo Arruda was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Elkin Paradela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Lodowy in the 89th minute of the match. Deivid Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Monte Cristo EC got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Fernandez. After 92nd play minutes Luís Guilherme Ortiz shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Luís Gustavo Arruda and just under the crossbar into goal. 97 minutes into the match, Monte Cristo EC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Ortiz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Trikoliro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
