After 5 played minutes Atlético Brooklin got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Dalberg. Tartalo Sevilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to Atlético Brooklin getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Moisés Ramos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Brooklin's Amaury Mandzukic got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Atlético Brooklin got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Ramos. If Manfredo Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Mathias Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Amaury Mandzukic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dênis Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Duarte in the 25th minute of play. Dênis Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Sorondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Sorondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Moisés Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dênis Teixeira. Goat Murders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moisés Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mauro de Senna's late challenge caught a Atlético Brooklin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atlético Brooklin booed when Goat Murders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Simões hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Atlético Brooklin's Nils-Erik Dalberg tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Guto Duarte scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dênis Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Brooklin's Váldson Vasconcelos was substituted for Guto Duarte. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amaury Mandzukic in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. Amaury Mandzukic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dênis Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Goat Murders's zone, Váldson Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Teixeira came out of the goal and Váldson Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Amaury Mandzukic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Brooklin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Amaury Mandzukic took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Dênis Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. Váldson Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Dênis Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Brooklin. Amaury Mandzukic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Amaury Mandzukic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Brooklin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
