An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Cordeiro in the 16th minute of play forced thurusbengus's goalkeeper Dorian Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, thurusbengus's goalkeeper Dorian Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgílio Arósio. In the 26th minute, Olavo Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to SERRANO getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Olavo Toledo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, SERRANO's Cafu Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Dorian Sergipano was a little too slow when Cafu Cordeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-0. Dorian Sergipano was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Virgílio Arósio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Virgílio Arósio really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Dênis Prado made the kick off in the second half. Doriva de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Luiz Guilherme Barros put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of thurusbengus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SERRANO:s goal. The referee gave SERRANO a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Virgílio Arósio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of thurusbengus's Dorian Sergipano. 7-0. Cafu Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dorian Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. thurusbengus's Dorian Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Arósio in the 61st minute of play. The SERRANO fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when SERRANO's Virgílio Arósio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th match minute, thurusbengus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Sena to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the thurusbengus defense, Cafu Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian Sergipano. The thurusbengus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Sergipano should have stopped the shot. Olavo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Sergipano having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Virgílio Arósio made a precise shot to the right of Dorian Sergipano. thurusbengus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0.
