The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Fontes got free with Hélio Luz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Ferreira in the 26th minute of play forced Livramento A.F.C's goalkeeper Hélio Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Ferreira in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélio Luz saved Livramento A.F.C from getting behind. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
