Vladislav Samsonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Palmeira in the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Osvaldo Soares took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hélio Luz to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Livramento A.F.C's Gláuber de Senna got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Mundial FC's Erik Sanches made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlindo de Amorim during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Arlindo de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélio Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bora Biil, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Livramento A.F.C's Hélio Luz got control of the ball when Bora Biil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Livramento A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Hélio Luz made a huge save. Osvaldo Soares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hélio Luz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hélio Luz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bora Biil sent off a good shot on target. Hílton Secco's late challenge caught a Mundial FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Secco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Livramento A.F.C's Hílton Secco got a free kick in the 39th minute. Livramento A.F.C's Hélio Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Livramento A.F.C from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Livramento A.F.C's Hélio Luz got control of the ball when Bora Biil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Soares made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Soares in the 52nd minute of play forced Livramento A.F.C's goalkeeper Hélio Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bora Biil took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélio Luz. Hélio Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to Livramento A.F.C getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hudson de Brito hit a great ball. Pedrão Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélio Luz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Mundial FC's Bora Biil. But to his dismay, Bora Biil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Hélio Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maurício Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Livramento A.F.C defense, Osvaldo Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Luz. The Livramento A.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Luz should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Erik Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Erik Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélio Luz. Livramento A.F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 88 minutes into the game, Erik Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Hélio Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo de Amorim in the 92nd minute of play forced Livramento A.F.C's goalkeeper Hélio Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Livramento A.F.C defense, Erik Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Luz. The Livramento A.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Luz should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mundial FC fully deserved thier win.
