To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, BIRUTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Corrêa came free, but Duda Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Dráuzio Loureiro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Duda Pena. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Afonsinho Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Duda Pena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Loureiro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caravelas FC had played much better football throughout.
