In the 6th minute, Dedê Souza fired a really elegant long shot, but Clemente Koehler threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Clemente Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Peres in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Marquez during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Fred Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Mathias Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Araguaia Sport Clube's goalkeeper Clemente Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pedro Couto. With a little luck, Araguaia Sport Clube's Clemente Koehler got control of the ball when João Pedro Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes, Edvaldo Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araguaia Sport Clube and the Clube Athletico Valão players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Araguaia Sport Clube getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edvaldo Donatello hit a great ball. João Pedro Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Clemente Koehler made a huge save. Clemente Koehler was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Júnior Negri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Júnior Negri really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Fábio Salles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Clemente Koehler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Clemente Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Pedro Couto in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Couto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, João Pedro Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tiago Gabriel Paes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araguaia Sport Clube's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Paes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Tiago Gabriel Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute João Pedro Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Fred Marquez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Virgílio Madureira. The goal made the score 4-1. In the 84th minute Fred Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Araguaia Sport Clube's Clemente Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Couto in the 90th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Gualter Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araguaia Sport Clube and the Clube Athletico Valão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualter Vander hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Júnior Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Koehler. Araguaia Sport Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Athletico Valão fully deserved thier win.
