Jonathan de Alcântara hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Manguaça FC's Nando Dionísio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael dos Santos in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Goito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Matías Novaes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Ceresso, 1-0. Manguaça FC's Daniel Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan de Alcântara in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Manguaça FC. Cristiano Valladares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnaldo Ceresso. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Matías Novaes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Ceresso, 3-0. Arnaldo Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nando Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Pereira hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Alfredão Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tobe Maguire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Montenegro made a kick off. Sobral F.C.'s Erik Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natanael dos Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Goito came out and tried to block the shot, but Natanael dos Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 54th minute. Sobral F.C.'s Arnaldo Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Novaes in the 59th minute of play. Nando Dionísio scored 4-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Ceresso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nando Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. Manguaça FC's Matías Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Manguaça FC's zone, Natanael dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Goito came out of the goal and Natanael dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nando Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Goito having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Manguaça FC's zone, Erik Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Goito came out of the goal and Erik Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sobral F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Erik Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Natanael dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
