Luisão Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Loyola having to interfere. Estrela Azul FC's Cauan Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estrela Azul FC's Nicolas Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Mello in the 11th minute of play. Cauan Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Freire having to interfere. Cauan Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Estrela Azul FC's Donato Souza tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cauan Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Caco Freire made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Dino Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estrela Azul FC's Nicolas Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Nóbrega in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Norberto Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Estrela Azul FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Natanael Fontes hit a great ball. After 48th play minutes Luisão Mello shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nicolas Loyola and just under the crossbar into goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cauan Antunes to make the kick off. Natanael Fontes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Brasil got free with Nicolas Loyola in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ademar Netto made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luisão Mello. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Nunes during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Caxinha F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Alan Nunes. The Estrela Azul FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Estrela Azul FC's Cauan Antunes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Norberto Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Estrela Azul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Cauan Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Luisão Mello took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Nicolas Loyola to make any attempt to save it. Caxinha F. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
